Actual tears were shed today in the Columbus BARK office and rather than needlessly explaining…

Yes, of course, they were tears of joy. I mean, there’s no class on how to handle yourself when 5 Future Service Dogs waltz into your office with no business being this cute.

But if someone makes a class, we’ll be there and we’ll all fail.

I still can’t believe this happened today and neither can Freedom, pictured above.

Canine Companions North Central Region visited our Columbus Office today to show us what they were all about. Besides being reduced to tears by the dogs’ cuteness, we learned about Canine Companions’ incredible mission to bring dogs into people’s lives so they can live with greater independence. They provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. They’ve been doing it since 1975 and all at no cost to their clients, people in the world who need it the most.

Talk about some INCREDIBLE work being done by these pups and their handlers. Learn more about Canine Companions and how you can get involved with them HERE!

At the end of the day, these pups are changing the world but most importantly, they are not above being the subject of a derpy photo to delight and amuse us.

Thank you, Canine Companions, for teaching us about your awesome mission and for bringing joy to our Tuesday morning!
