Ok, the most important one. Tell us about your dog!
Milo is a big baby. He loves to be near his humans and be included in everything. He thinks he’s a big dog despite being a smaller terrier. If you are ever sad he is the first one there to lick away your tears while forcing you to play in order to cheer you up. Milo loves his humans more than anything.
What ERG are you a part of?
I am the co-leader of Latinx.
Tell us what excites you / makes you passionate about the ERG you are a part of at BARK.
I get to express and share my culture with individuals who also love dogs while at work. I can’t wait to make a difference in the Latinx community in Columbus.
Tell us some ways you feel your ERG made a change, whether it was in the company or in the community.
We have the opportunity to help dogs in Puerto Rico through the SATO Project. These dogs get the care that they need.
What are some exciting ways you celebrate your community?
Connecting with those who I share my culture with is how I celebrate my community, especially speaking in Spanish. Another one is continuing traditions that my ancestors started like celebrating holidays and cooking cultural dishes.
What are some ways others can get involved in celebrating or supporting the Latinx community?
Express curiosity. Or simply ask your Latinx friend to go eat at their favorite restaurant!
