I have 3 dogs: Ranger, 8yrs, Boxer/Akita Mix: Has a vocabulary of over 200 words, super tough guy but total mama’s boy, and is obsessed with playing fetch. Knows how to balance a ball/ treat on his nose for 30 seconds! Zeus, 8yrs, Husky/Border Collie Mix: Super cuddly and handsome but ornery, low-key famous. He’s been featured on Ads and commercials in his prime. Knows how to “put em up” and fake die with the command “bang”. Wookie, 5yrs, Sheltie/Border Collie Mix: A ball of sunshine- loves everyone and is always smiling, enjoys squeaking really loud squeaky toys super early in the morning or during meetings. Knows how to weave through legs and do basic agility!
What excites you about joining the BARK team?
I am super stoked to be a part of a company that puts the happiness of dogs and their hoomans at the forefront. I get to go to work every day knowing that I am contributing to making fellow pet owners and their dog's super duper happy.
What stood out to you about BARK?
What stands out to me most about BARK that I have not seen at other companies is their emphasis on the importance of mental health and a work-life balance. Not only do they say it, but they mean it and encourage their employees to take time for themselves and their families. The common saying “you can’t make others happy unless you’re happy” really proves why BARK has such a high success rate as a business. Their employees are able to really focus on helping make others happy because they themselves, are truly happy too!
How has the BARK pack made you feel welcomed in your first week?
BARK has made me feel so welcomed already! They sent me a welcome box with toys and swag for me and my doggos and the first question I’ve been asked by every person I’ve met so far is “can you tell me about your dogs?”. Dog people are the best people!
