Jackie Lapena joins BARK on their Customer Experience team, which we call “The Happy Team”!

Tell us about your dog(s)!

I have 2 dogs, namely Monella and Pom. Monella is a Shih Tzu, while Pom is a crossbreed of Pomeranian and Japanese Spitz.

Tell us what excites you about joining the BARK team:

I am excited about the work environment, I can feel that the people behind BARK are friendly and very happy people. Mostly, the job itself, I am an animal lover and I love making dogs happy!

What stood out to you about BARK that you have not seen at other companies?

The job description itself. It’s my first time to join a company that is an advocate of making dogs/pets happy.

How does your role impact BARK’s mission of “make all dogs happy”?

Being a happy ambassador means that we have to ensure that our customers are satisfied with our service, and that means we have to do what’s best for every dog in the platform. We have to do everything that will make them happy and pampered. Giving our best in terms of giving resolution to any issues will not just only make fur parents happy but also their fur babies.

How has the BARK pack made you feel welcomed in your first week?

Everyone in the BARK family is friendly and a happy person. Everyone was sharing pictures of their fur babies, sharing how amazing their babies are. For me, it is important that you get to open up and share your happy moments and thoughts to contribute to the success of the company.
