But this article was written by a pseudo adult.

The day is April 21st, 2022. The sun decided to take a day off, so the kiddos of our own BARK employees brightened the office instead.

When I think about my youth, Take Your Kid to Work Day was mostly my mom regretting her life decisions. But in my defense, all she gave me to play with was a stapler 🤷‍♀

We welcomed nieces, nephews, cousins, sons, daughters, and all VIP kiddos for a day full of fun activities in our NYC and Columbus offices.

Katie Lim, Director of Toy Design Super Chewer, and Morgan Linscott, BarkBox Toy Designer, host BarkBox & Super Chewer Brainstorm. Our smol guests came up with ideas you just might see in your box someday!

Our NY kiddos brainstormed some hilarious BarkBox & Super Chewer content, while our CBUS kids embarked on a scavenger hunt to find Scout the Mascot and write letters to pups.

Left: Lindsay Wever, our Domestic Logistics Manger, and her son, Waylon, found Scout! Right: 2 minutes later, Waylon is exhausted by the working life (me too, buddy).
Davey’s letter to Gigi’s shelter pups says, “I love you dog.” So eloquently written!

Each office also had special visits from some of our favorite organizations, The Good Dog Foundation and Gigis, to share their mission of how they help dogs in our communities.

Left: Jamison meets an adoptable pup from Gigi’s in Columbus. Right: Karla is a big fan of The Good Dog Foundation

Some may say this was a really weird recruiting attempt but tbh… I’d say it was a genius recruiting attempt. How cool would it be to have these snack queens and kings working for us one day?!

Left: Our NY kiddos climb on the stadium stairs. Right: Melissa Conard, Director of Customer Experience, reads Mateo the Magnificent to her son, Everett. P.S. Mateo the Magnificent was written by our own Senior Corporate Counsel, Adam Rosenbaum!

There’s nothing in this world more admirable than working parents. So to all of our BARK parents out there: we see you, we honor you, and we better see your kiddos back next year for Kids Day @ BARK!
