Brandon Wyatt and his pup, Crosby, are doing big things making RainBARK a memorable and impactful Employee Resource Group at BARK!

What ERG are you a part of?

I’m one of the leaders of RainBARK!

Tell us what excites you / makes you passionate about the ERG you are a part of at BARK:

There are two things that I can explicitly call out here. The first is simply meeting incredible people within the organization and the impact they’ve had on me. Knowing I can be provided extraordinary viewpoints on things I never would’ve thought about every day is both eye-opening and inspiring. The second thing is, we provide a platform people within RainBARK can leverage to impact anyone and everyone. It’s awesome to see people go through great lengths to accomplish common goals under this banner and I look forward to seeing more throughout the years.

What are some exciting ways you celebrate your community?

Honestly, there are so many different answers that are all correct with this question. I try and balance fun, with seriousness so here are some events we’ve done in the past: We’ve done a video game happy hour! Members and allies of the community came together and we have a nice little hour of playing some video games in the office to get together and celebrate. During Trans Day of Visibility, the organization came together and we were able to spotlight members within our organization who identify as trans and we were able to provide them a spotlight to shine under.

June and Lola celebrating Trans Day of Visibility in March!

Overall for RainBARK, I believe the best way to summarize this is we get together at any point and just enjoy everyone coming together and being happy! Simply put :)

RainBARK Game Night in Columbus was a hit!

What are some ways others can get involved in supporting RainBARK?

Honestly, you don’t need to be a member, just a great ally and we’d love to have you at one of our events in the future!
